VIDEO: Kevin Owens Attacks Cody Rhodes, Triple H Gets Physical After WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event

It’s not over. There are certain moments in wrestling where you know that something important is happening. It can be quite the game changer to see something like this take place, even if the television cameras are no longer on. Occasionally these moments will happen after a show has ended, which is the case with some of the biggest stars in wrestling today.

The main event of this week’s Saturday Night’s Main Event saw Cody Rhodes successfully defend the WWE Championship against Kevin Owens. WWE has uploaded footage to YouTube from after the show, where Owens gave Rhodes a package piledriver. Rhodes was taken away on a stretcher and put in an ambulance as Owens took the title belt with him. Fan footage has been uploaded to Twitter, showing WWE CCO Triple H yelling at Owens and shoving him as Rhodes was taken out of the arena.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that is going to lead to something big, such as a possible rematch for the title at the Royal Rumble with some special stipulations. That should make things all the bigger as Rhodes is going to want to get his hands on Owens, who has taken something from him. For now though, this should make for quite the moment when Owens gets to brag about what he did, which should carry things a long way.
