He’s in. We are in the second month of the year, which means WWE will be continuing the John Cena Retirement Tour. Cena has announced that this will be his final year as an active wrestler, which will see Cena participating in a variety of matches for the final time. That was the case with this weekend’s Royal Rumble and now we know what Cena is going to be doing next.

This weekend, John Cena finished as the runner up to Jey Uso in the Men’s Royal Rumble match. Following the show at the WWE press conference, Cena confirmed that he will be participating in the Elimination Chamber in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on March 1. This will be Cena’s final Elimination Chamber match as he attempts to earn a World Title shot at WrestleMania 41.

Opinion: This something that probably shouldn’t come as a surprise but it makes for a great moment. At the end of the day, Cena is going to be in just about every major match going forward and it is going to include the Elimination Chamber. It would not shock me to see Cena win the thing, which is where the extra drama comes in for everything that WWE is doing at the moment.
