He’s back! There are all kinds of wrestlers throughout the industry and there are certain stars who have bounced around from one promotion to another, often with great success. That includes some major names, many of whom are still around today. It can be a big deal when you see someone make a return to a previous promotion and that is what we saw again this weekend.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WATCH: NXT Star Appears At TNA Event, Receives Title Shot
The main event of this weekend’s TNA Against All Odds event saw Moose successfully defend the World Title against Matt Hardy. Following the match, the System attacked Hardy, as well as the Nemeth’s and Joe Hendry. This led to Jeff Hardy making a surprise return to help fight off the System to end the show. Jeff’s AEW contract expired this week, though it is not clear if he has signed a new deal with TNA.
It was a big one. Check out the return plus Jeff’s previous times in the company:
Opinion: As soon as Jeff’s contract expired, this seemed to be the expected result. At the end of the day, the Hardys only have so many places to go and TNA seems to be their best bet. They have an impressive history there and it is interesting to see them back. That being said, I’m worried about how much of the main event scene the Hardys will be taking up, as there are some young talents who need the spotlight more than they do.
