We’re not done yet. WWE offers a lot of different television content every week, to the point where it might be a little too much at times. With so much going on in a single week, it can take a while to keep up with it all. The biggest show of them all is Monday Night Raw, which clocks in at three hours every single week. You would think that would be long enough, but it wasn’t the case this time.

The closing segment of this week’s Monday Night Raw saw Randy Orton ending his partnership with Ric Flair. The two of them had been together since just after Backlash, as Flair had christened Orton as the greatest wrestler of all time. Orton decided that Flair had become a liability though and attacked him to end the show. It was a big moment and they needed some more time.

This was a smart bonus. Check out what happened after Monday Night Raw ended:

WWE has released a video from after Monday Night Raw showing what happened after the show went off the air. The video shows Flair being loaded onto a stretcher with help from medics and Drew McIntyre. Flair had been knocked down by a low blow and then a Punt from Orton. The lights flickered when the Punt connected with Flair’s head, which served as a way to write Flair off of television.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that adds some realism to the angle. With no fans in the arena, there was no one to impress once the segment was over. While you could not see the impact with the Punt, seeing Flair helped out of the arena can make the segment feel more realistic. I liked what they accomplished here, so hopefully it leads to a great match at Summerslam with Orton and McIntyre.

What did you think of the segment? Will Flair be back on television? Let us know in the comments below.
