That might be the first third. We are less than a month away from the 2020 Royal Rumble and that means it is time for one of the most entertaining things that you’ll get to do all year: guessing who is going to be in the Royal Rumble. WWE has an incredibly deep roster and there are a lot of wrestlers who could fill in the thirty spots in the men’s Royal Rumble. Now we might know who some of those people are.

Last November, NXT arrived on the main stage. By winning the battle for Brand Supremacy at Survivor Series, NXT became the new players in WWE, showing that they were a legitimate third brand for the company. That show took place less than two months ago and fans are going to remember that NXT was a big deal. Perhaps even big enough to be in the Royal Rumble on a bigger scale. That every well may be the case.

A new video posted by the WWE On FOX Twitter account shows a group of NXT wrestlers as possible entrants into the 2020 Royal Rumble. The wrestlers included are Finn Balor, Matt Riddle, Walter, Tyler Breeze, Pete Dunne, Johnny Gargano, Tommaso Ciampa, Keith Lee and Kyle O’Reilly. At the moment, there is no guarantee that NXT will be involved in the match at all, though NXT talent will be in Houston for the When Worlds Collide event the night before the Royal Rumble. There have been NXT participants in the Royal Rumble before, though there have never been more than two in a single men’s match.

Opinion: I’m not sure how this is going to go, but you have to include some NXT names in the Royal Rumbles. With so many names down in NXT who have shown that they can hang on the main roster and the success at Survivor Series, it is impossible to ignore what NXT could offer. I’m not saying they need to win, but it would be a near disaster to not put them in there in a pretty large form.
