Can I get some Bracketology? The WWE loves itself some tournaments. At one point earlier this year, there were three tournaments going on at the same time. Things have calmed down a little bit more now but that’s going to be changing by the end of the summer. Later this year, WWE will be holding the second annual Mae Young Classic with thirty two names competing. That’s a lot of spots to fill and WWE is already off to a hot start.

We’re well on the way with some names you may have heard of.

First 6 Mae Young Classic competitors revealed: WWE Now

WWE has posted a new video looking at the first six names confirmed for the Mae Young Classic. The six names so far represent five countries, including two from the United States, one of whom is a former WWE Divas Champion. One name participated in last year’s inaugural Mae Young Classic. The tournament will be filmed on August 8 and 9 at Full Sail University and aired at a later date.

Which former champion is it? Check out the details right here.

Opinion: This event was a lot of fun last year and gave us a majority of the currently awesome NXT women’s division. If we’re lucky enough to see some more talent like that debut, everything is going to be fine. This first batch of name is rather strong and bringing in a former champion like Kaitlyn is a good idea. A lot of these names will be newcomers and it makes sense to have someone there as a metric to see where they stand.

Which of these names interest you the most? Who do you want to see added to the field? Let us know in the comments below.
