This could take some time. There is something interesting about a wrestling character with multiple personalities. It is the kind of thing that you don’t see very often in wrestling and if it is done properly, it can be one of the most fascinating things you see. WWE currently has an excellent one going on with Bray Wyatt and Wyatt’s career has gone up as a result. Now though, someone is trying to get inside his head.
Over the last few months, Wyatt has been in a feud with former Wyatt Family member Braun Strowman, which has seen Strowman face off against Wyatt’s various personalities. This includes the Firefly Fun House version at Money in the Bank and the Eater of Worlds at Extreme Rules. That leaves the Fiend, likely at Summerslam, but the Fiend has something to do first.
I don’t think he got it. Check out what the Fiend was up to:
The WWE On Fox Instagram account has posted a new video showing the Fiend going to therapy. During the session with the psychiatrist, the Fiend sits down and says nothing, while the psychiatrist pulls out a puppet. The Fiend then makes the lights go out and the psychiatrist disappears. Various other wrestlers saw the same psychiatrist during editions of WWE Backstage.
Opinion: This is the kind of thing that is always good for a chuckle as taking the wrestlers outside of the arena can create some rather great moments. The Fiend is one of the more unique as well as bizarre characters both in WWE today and perhaps ever, so seeing someone who isn’t a regular wrestler dealing with him is rather amusing. It was a short, funny idea and that’s all it needed to be.
What do you think of the Fiend? Will he take the title from Strowman? Let us know in the comments below.
