VIDEO: Drew McIntyre Gets In Sick Burn On CM Punk

That’s cold. There are all kinds of ways to advance a feud but in complicated cases, it has to be done without anything physical taking place. That is often the case when one of them is injured and unable to do anything in the ring. WWE is dealing with something like that at the moment as one star is out of action. Now though, the active one is doing something to keep the feud going.

Drew McIntyre and CM Punk have been feuding since McIntyre injured Punk during the Royal Rumble in January. Last month, Punk posted a video showing him accidentally getting locked in WWE Headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut. McIntyre has posted a video to Twitter, showing himself “stuck” in WWE Headquarters but using tricep strength to open the door and leave. Punk is currently out of action following surgery to repair a torn tricep.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that makes things all the more interesting as McIntyre got to show off some of his comedic chops. You don’t get to see that kind of thing very often but when it works out, it works very well. McIntyre can mix up the serious and the joking well enough and now we could be in for something even better when Punk gets to make his own comeback.
