Maybe it could be better this time? There are a lot of well known names in the history of wrestling, but not all of them are the most fondly remembered. For as many great names there are in wrestling lore, there are also several which are not exactly revered. This could be the case for one reason or another, but now one of the more infamous names has popped up again.

Former Impact Wrestling executive Dixie Carter made an appearance on this week’s Ring of Honor Women Of Honor Wednesday show. Carter opened the show in a video from her home, welcoming the fans to the Women’s Title tournament and wishing the participants good luck. This was Carter’s first on camera appearance since 2017 when she appeared in a documentary on Kurt Angle for the WWE Network.

Carter was certainly a player in wrestling. Check out the full show and some of her time in the industry:

Opinion: This is one of those things that might be hard to wrap your head around but ultimately is a nice moment. Carter might not have the best reputation in wrestling history but she was definitely someone who was a player in wrestling for a long time. I highly doubt that she is going to be around Ring of Honor going forward, making this much more of a surprise cameo than anything else.

What did you think of Carter’s time in Impact Wrestling? Will she ever be a regular in wrestling again? Let us know in the comments below.
