That could be serious. There are all kinds of injuries in wrestling and that can make for a wide variety of issues among wrestlers. Almost every wrestler is going to be injured in one way or another and the main event stars are often going to receive more attention than others. That is the case with a current main event WWE star, but this is a more unique situation.
This year’s Royal Rumble featured a variety of returns, including Braun Strowman in the #30 spot. While Strowman had officially returned the previous week on SmackDown, the Royal Rumble marked his first match with WWE since Survivor Series. Strowman had been out of action with a knee injury, but it turns out that he has something a bit more serious going on.
He can explain it. Check out why Strowman has been gone:
Strowman has released a video revealing that he has been suffering from an infection in his blood stream which has caused him to lose about 15 pounds in 5 days. He has since been put on antibiotics and is feeling better, though he did not mention a return to television. Strowman has not appeared on either Monday Night Raw or SmackDown since his appearance at the Royal Rumble.
Opinion: What matters most here is the fact that Strowman is getting better. Something like this is nothing to mess around with and it is great that he is starting to improve. Thankfully he got the help that he needs because that could have gotten a lot worse in a hurry. Strowman is someone who could still do a lot for WWE and having him back to wreck people sounds like a fun idea. Just be healthy first.
