VIDEO: Big Surprise Return Opens WrestleMania 40 Night Two

Welcome back! There have been all kinds of changes to WWE in recent months and that has included one name after another departing the company. It has also seen some names coming back into the fold and that was the case again this week, as someone made a surprise return to the company after seemingly being gone for good. She even had something special to say.

Stephanie McMahon made a surprise return to WWE to start WrestleMania 40 Night Two. McMahon welcomed the crowd to the show and heralded a new era, which she dubbed the Paul Levesque Era. McMahon left WWE in 2023 when her father Vince McMahon returned to the company after his original retirement. There is no word on if Stephanie will be back in a full time role with WWE.

Opinion: This one took me by surprise but it was nice to have Stephanie back after such a long time away. I’m not sure if I need to have her back ever single week but having her around once in awhile is not a bad thing. Let her come in, pop the crowd a bit and make a nice announcement. That is what she did here and hopefully we get to see her do something similar in the future.
