Well that’s something. The last few weeks haven’t been kind to “Impact Wrestling” and given the return of the NFL, things aren’t likely to improve all that much in the coming weeks. Last night’s show was a big episode with three title matches and the latest edition of the Victory Road series. So how did the show do?

According to 411mania.com, this week’s episode drew a .06 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 264,000 viewers. These numbers are up 20% and down 5% respectively from last week’s .05 rating and 277,000 viewers. This week’s show was headlined by GFW World Champion Eli Drake defending against Johnny Impact.

Here’s what happened after the main event ended.

After The Main Event Everything Breaks Down On IMPACT | #ICYMI Sept 28, 2017

Opinion: The rating being up is nice but the viewership is still about where it was on average. There’s a firm limit on how many people the show seems capable of reaching and there’s no reason to imagine that they’re going to break out of it anytime soon. Maybe things will pick up for the build to “Bound For Glory 2017” but the shows haven’t been the most thrilling as of late.
