Version Two: Title Change Takes Place On NXT In Stand & Deliver Rematch

Hand them over. There are all kinds of titles in wrestling and you never know when you are going to see one of them change hands. It can be a big deal when a major title match takes place, even if a new champion isn’t crowned. Such a match can also lead to a rematch if things go right and that was the situation again this week, albeit with some raised stakes.

Over the weekend at NXT Stand & Deliver, the Wolfdogs successfully defended the NXT Tag Team Titles against Axiom and Nathan Frazer. This week on NXT, Axiom and Frazer received a rematch, where they would have to split up if they lost. Axiom and Frazer went on to win the titles, marking their first reign as a team. Following the loss, the Final Testament attack Axiom and Frazer.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that you see on occasion and we could be in for a rather nice reign from the new champions. At the same time, you have the Wolfdogs finally losing, meaning we could be in for a new direction for them. There is a very good chance that we won’t be seeing them together, as Bron Breakker has already been moved up to the main roster. For now though, it’s cool to see the titles change hands and things could be getting more interesting.
