It wouldn’t have mattered. There have been a lot of stars to come through WWE over the years and some of them have made quite the impact. However, some of those impacts are not the most positive, as those wrestlers are more infamous for the things they have done rather than the good things they did in the ring. Another of those was in the news as of late, but WWE doesn’t seem to mind.

Last month, Patrick Clark, better known as Velveteen Dream during his time in NXT, was arrested twice on drug related charges. According to Fightful Select, these arrests made no difference in WWE’s decision to not bring Clark back. One source said that bringing him back would be a “public relations nightmare” and another called him a “headache” during his time in NXT. Clark was released from NXT last May.

Opinion: I’m not sure how shocking this is as there was no reason to think Clark was on his way back to WWE. Clark is a talented star and someone who can do all kinds of things in the ring but there are certain aspects of him that seem to cause more trouble than he is worth. I can’t imagine him popping up in WWE again and that is the kind of thing that can end quite the promising career.

What do you think of Clark? Will he ever wrestle in WWE again? Let us know in the comments below.
