On the road again? The Coronavirus has changed the way the wrestling world works and while things are certainly starting to get better, it could be a little while before everything is back to normal. This includes the wrestling world, which has not been close to normal in over a year. Perhaps the biggest change is where the shows are taking place and now WWE is going to need to address that again.

Wrestling is a sport that thrives at a higher level when there are fans in person to watch the show. They allow the wrestlers some instant feedback and tell them what the think of what is being presented. Fans have not been allowed at a WWE event in any significant number since March 2020 as the company has been stuck in Florida due to the Coronavirus. Things are going to have to change at some point and now we know what might be next.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE may be continuing to run events in Tampa, Florida after they are forced to leave Tropicana Field. WWE is still purchasing planet tickets to send its employees to Tampa even after WrestleMania on April 10 and 11. The Tampa Bay Rays will begin their baseball season in the stadium on April 9, meaning that the April 5 Monday Night Raw is the final possible date for the venue. There is no word on where the show will go next.

The Thunder Dome has been a nice home for WWE. Check out how things have gone there:

Opinion: I’m not sure where WWE is going next but they still have a pretty long way to go before they can be regularly touring in front of fans. Things are starting to get back to normal but that does not mean things are going to be ready to go immediately. Hopefully WWE has something big in mind because it could be several more months before they are ready to be back to normal.
