It’s about all they can do. There isn’t exactly a precedent for the things going on in the wrestling world today and it makes sense to try things from a very different way. That is going to be the case with WrestleMania 36 as it is to be held in front of an empty WWE Performance Center, but at the same time, there might be something else even more unique going on.

The big problem with this year’s WrestleMania stems from the Coronavirus, as various governments have followed the Center For Disease Controls’ recommendations of banning large gatherings. This has kept WrestleMania out of both arenas and stadiums, but the bigger problem at the moment is how fast the rules can change. Therefore, WWE may need to get the show ready when they can, and that is what they will be doing.

According to PWInsider.com, WWE will be taping several shows this week, including at least part of WrestleMania 36. This will include multiple episodes of SmackDown, 205 Live, Monday Night Raw, NXT and some of WrestleMania. However, there is the possibility that WrestleMania could also be filmed at closed sets elsewhere. There is no word on how long WWE will have to film events at the Performance Center.

It’s a big deal. Check out some of the shows from the Performance Center:

Opinion: I’m not sure what took them so long to come to this conclusion as this is one of the smartest things that they could do. There is no way of telling how long WWE will be able to put these shows on so getting them ready in advance is the best thing that they could do. I’m not sure if they’re going to be able to do everything they want, but something is better than nothing at this point.
