Maybe later? We are approaching the end of 2021 and that means it is time to start getting ready for the new year. WWE certainly has done that already and has some plans ready for 2022. While WrestleMania will get the most focus, there are several other shows worth looking at as well. That includes Summerslam, which has been rumored for some big plans but they might not be locked in just yet.
Earlier this week, a story emerged saying that WWE was hoping to hold Summerslam 2022 in the United Kingdom, with Cardiff Wales’ Principality Stadium as the leading location candidate. However, according to Wrestling Observer Radio, the deal is far from complete and there is no guarantee that the show will take place in the United Kingdom. WWE has yet to announce anything about the show.

Opinion: This seems like a wait and see situation and while frustrating, there are not many other options. WWE could take Summerslam just about anywhere and it makes sense to head to the United Kingdom. It has been a long time since WWE has held a major pay per view outside of North America and it would be nice to see something like this. Now just make the show interesting.
