That’s a long time. The Coronavirus has changed a lot of things about the wrestling world and WWE may have been hit harder than anyone else. The company has not been able to run an event outside of Florida in over a year and has not had a significant amount of fans in attendance for their events in the same amount of time. Things are getting better, but that does not mean they will be back to normal immediately.

Not having fans in attendance is one of the stranger wrestling aspects of the Coronavirus pandemic. Having fans in attendance lets the wrestlers know how things are going and gives them some energy to feed off of during their matches. That makes for an important aspect of the matches, but it has not happened in a good while now. We might have a slightly better idea of when that will change.

According to Sports Illustrated, WWE will not be running any events with live fans in attendance until the second half of the year. This includes television, meaning that the only events with fans in attendance will be the two nights of WrestleMania 37. WWE has announced that they will be moving their main television shows to the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida starting after WrestleMania 37 but fans will not be in attendance.

Crowds can see something special at a live event. Check out what can happen:

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that you have to see coming as while things are getting better, it is still not entirely ready. Hopefully WWE can have fans back sooner than later, because there are all kinds of problems with having fans in attendance. I’m not sure when WWE is going to be able to do in the near future, but they need to be able to come up with something special when it is ready.
