That’s a serious one. Injuries can happen to anyone in wrestling and some of them can sneak up on you. An injury can be obvious but there are others that happen underneath the surface and build up over time before eventually putting someone on the shelf. That has happened again in AEW and now we know just how serious things are, plus how long someone will be out.

Last month, AEW Women’s Champion Thunder Rosa announced that she was injured and forced to take a hiatus from the ring. As a result, the Interim Women’s Title was created, with Toni Storm winning the title at All Out. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Rosa is expected to be back in 2-3 months, after which she and Storm will face off in a title unification match. However, there are reportedly some in AEW who feel Rosa could have worked through the injury and dropped the title to Storm but chose not to.

Opinion: I really don’t get the appeal of the Interim Titles but at least we have more of a time frame of when she will be back. Rosa is really good when she can be in the ring, but there is only so much you can do when your back is this messed up. Hopefully she is back sooner rather than later, as Rosa vs. Storm is a match that could do well on a pay per view card.

What do you think of Rosa? How will the unification match go? Let us know in the comments below.
