I guess that’s better? Last week’s edition of AEW Dynamite was not the most successful, as the show saw three wrestlers injured over the course of two hours. That is quite the high rate of damage and it is not something that anyone ever wants to see. One of the worst things about such injuries is you don’t know when you are going to see someone again. An injured wrestler was not on the following show but it wasn’t because of the injury.

Rey Fenix was banged up during last week’s Dynamite, injuring his hip on a very high dive to the floor with no one managing to catch him to cushion his fall. The hard landing caused him to suffer a hip injury which put him out of the Casino Ladder match at Double Or Nothing three days later. Fenix was not in action the following week either, though for a different reason.

According to Bodyslam.net, Fenix was not present at this week’s AEW television tapings due to a personal issue at home. He will not be at next week’s tapings either and it is currently unknown when he will be back. The time off will also allow him to rest his hip, which is still injured from the previous week. There is no word on how severe his injury is, but it is not expected to keep him out of the ring much longer.

Fenix can do some insane things in the air. Check out his amazing skills:

Opinion: Hopefully Fenix isn’t out of action much longer, but also hopefully he can be in the ring more often. Fenix is the kind of wrestler would could make a huge splash in AEW as he is one of the most charismatic and best high fliers around. There’s something about the way he can move through the air that makes you want to watch and I could go for a lot more of him than we have been getting.

What do you think of Fenix? Should he continue as part of the Lucha Bros or wrestle on his own? Let us know in the comments below.
