Call it a few reasons? WWE has been shaken up a lot in recent months and that seems like it could continue being the case for a very long time to come. With so many names moving around and being released on a nearly regular basis, it can be easy to forget where some of the wrestlers are. That seems to be the case again, and now we might know why one WWE name is still around.

After being forced to retire due to neck injuries back in 2018, Paige has appeared in a variety of roles for WWE. This has included time as an analyst and as the General Manager of SmackDown, but she has not been seen in several months. According to Wrestling Observer Live, Paige is still with WWE but only makes appearances when the company has something for her to do. There is a chance that Paige is still with the company due to WWE wanting to capitalize on her name value or do not want to let her go after her career was ended while wrestling for them.

Paige has had a heck of a run with WWE. Check out some of her time with the company:

Opinion: I can get why WWE keeps Paige on the payroll, as her career was cut off in what should have been her prime. She is a unique star with success under her belt and it would make sense to keep her around. While I can’t imagine her actually wrestling again, it is nice to hold on to the hope that she can get back in the ring one day. Until it’s a definitive no, keep her around and let her do her things here and there.
