Maybe not? Injuries can change a variety of things in a wrestling promotion as it means that a wrestler is out of action and plans have to be changed. That can make for some terrible moments and unfortunately there is little that can be done other than wait. That is what we are seeing again and now we are having something of a mixed message on a wrestler’s return.

Ilja Dragunov has been out of action since September after suffering a torn ACL. Earlier this month, Dragunov was reportedly seen in the WWE Performance Center training in the ring. According to Fightful by way of Cagesideseats.com, it is not clear when Dragunov is expected to return to competition. There is no word on if he was training for a return o having his injury evaluated.

Dragunov is a star. Check out his time in WWE:

Opinion: This isn’t the biggest surprise, as someone coming back from a torn ACL in about four months would be more than a stretch. While I would love to have Dragunov back, I do not want him to return before he is ready and risk getting hurt all over again. There are very few people who wrestle with his intensity and that is something I could go for seeing again rather soon.

What do you think of Dragunov’s time in WWE? What would you like to see him do when he returns? Let us know in the comments below.
