It’s something else. There are all kinds of people who work to make a wrestling show come together and some of them are a bit different than the norm. Every so often you will see someone taking two roles at once and it can make for an interesting situation. That is what we appear to be seeing again, as a previous star is back in WWE, but not in the role you might have expected.

Last week, Lince Dorado made a surprise return to WWE, wrestling at an NXT live event in Florida. This was Dorado’s first match for the company since 2021 and it suggested that he might be back in some capacity. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, Dorado is indeed back with WWE, though as a coach based out of the Performance Center. There is no word on if he will be returning to WWE in any capacity.

Opinion: This makes a bit more sense, as Dorado was something of a random return to WWE, especially for NXT. Having him as a coach is a good idea though, as bringing in fresh blood to help in that area is often a smart move. Dorado has been around WWE as well as the independent circuit over the years so let him bring that kind of experience to the up and coming WWE stars.
