Stick around for a bit. There are a lot of wrestlers around the WWE rosters and that means there are going to be a lot of changes going on at any given time. Some wrestlers might not be happy and that means something might have to be done to make things better. We have seen that over the last six months or so with a bunch of contract situations and that is the case again in 2020.

A lot of the changes in wrestling have come because of AEW. They have given the WWE roster a mainstream alternative to showcase themselves and that change has caused a lot of wrestlers to consider leaving WWE. There have been a lot of WWE wrestlers to try and get out, though some of them will change their mind. That was the case again this week as someone else has decided to stay with WWE.

According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, Kalisto has signed a new contract extension with WWE. This comes after Kalisto sent out a tweet late last year saying that he would be a free agent in ten months. There is no word on how long the new deal is for, but it is a multi-year contract. Kalisto’s most recent match took place at a December 30 live event while his most recent televised match took place on the Survivor Series 2019 Kickoff Show.

Kalisto deserves to stick around. Check out some of his best moments:

Opinion: This is the kind of signing that makes sense for WWE. Kalisto might not be the biggest star in the company but he is a former two time United States Champion. Couple that with his natural skills and charisma and he is someone who AEW (or anyone) would want in a heartbeat. WWE is smart to keep him, but they would be smarter to actually do something with him.

What can Kalisto do in WWE? Has he hit his peak? Let us know in the comments below.
