Maybe next time. There are a lot of WWE stars, but there is only one Brock Lesnar. Debuting back in 2002, it was clear that Lesnar was something different, but I don’t know how many people knew just how different he was going to be. His comeback in 2012 made things even bigger, and his legend has grown by leaps and bounds. Lesnar has done a lot, but when is he going to do more?

Back at WrestleMania 36, Drew McIntyre defeated Lesnar to become the WWE Champion for the first time. That is the most recent appearance for Lesnar, who does tend to take long hiatuses between his appearances. The question remains not if but when Lesnar will be back, but the lack of fans in the arenas are changing the way things work. We don’t know when Lesnar will be back, but we know when he won’t be back.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Lesnar will not be wrestling at Summerslam. The WrestleMania match against McIntyre was so decisive because Lesnar would not be around again anytime soon. In addition, Paul Heyman, who is a major part of Lesnar’s on-screen persona, has not been at Monday Night Raw since he was fired as Executive Director. It is not known when Lesnar will next wrestle.

WWE is missing a lot. Check out the monster that they are waiting on:

Opinion: I can’t say I’m surprised by this. Lesnar is the definition of a big match player and there is no reason to have him out there in a situation that looks low level, even if it is on a marquee show. It isn’t like he is going to turn down a major payday in the future, so wait until things are anything close to normal again and then bring him back in. Why waste the future potential for a present boost?
