Ouch. Injuries are some of the worst things that you will see in wrestling as you never know when someone is going to be put out of action for a long time. Someone can seemingly be fine but then announce that they are going to be on the shelf with an injury. That is the case with an NXT star, who has announced that he is out of action with a pretty serious situation.

During a stream, NXT star Javier Bernal has announced that has suffered a broken foot during a match that took place on NXT LVL Up. As a result, Bernal will require surgery and be out of action for six months. Bernal suffered the injury while executing a dive during a tag match where he teamed with Drake Morreaux in a loss against Chase U. Bernal has appeared on main roster shows as an enhancement talent.

Opinion: That’s terrible to hear as you never want to see someone put on the shelf for any length of time, but Bernal being out of action for six months is terrible. He has a charisma to him that makes you want to see what he is doing and it is a shame that he is going to be out of action for so long. Hopefully he gets to showcase his abilities more when he gets back, as he is quite good at what he does.
