Rain check? While there are all kinds of wrestling shows taking place throughout the year, every so often something is going to happen that prevents them from going as expected. Those shows can be very important in their own right but something might happen to slow them up. That appears to be the situation again this week, as a rather serious incident is changing a promotion’s plans.

Earlier this week, TNA Wrestling was forced to cancel its upcoming television tapings in Spartanburg, South Carolina due to Hurricane Helene. According to Fightful Select, while the company postponed the tapings twice and attempted everything they could to make them happen, it was not possible.
There is currently no word on what the company will do, as these were the last tapings before this year’s Bound For Glory on October 26. There is a chance that the tapings could be held at Skyway Studios in Nashville, which is where the company taped during the Coronavirus pandemic. This week’s show may be a Best Of but that has not been confirmed.
Things have been going well. Check out what TNA has been doing lately:
Opinion: This is one of those situations where there is very little that can be done. The company can’t just skip the last month of television before Bound For Glory so even running the shows with a limited crowd is better than nothing. What matters is keeping the interest up for the show and while that might mean burning off a week with a Best Of show, this is a case where it is out of the company’s hands.
