One More: WWE Adds A New Title Match To Backlash

Put them on. We are less than two weeks away from Backlash and that means the card really needs to come together. That was the case last week on SmackDown when three more matches were added to the show. There are still multiple slots on the card that still need to be filled though, with one of the spots being filled this week in a big way on the same show.

There was a new title match announced for Backlash this week on Monday Night Raw. Bianca Belair will defend the Raw Women’s Title against Iyo Sky, who won a triple threat match to become the #1 contender earlier this month. The two have since argued with each other backstage, as well as fought in a six woman tag this week on Monday Night Raw. Backlash takes place on May 6 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Opinion: WWE has put a lot of Backlash together in the last few days and the card is looking better and better. That is the kind of thing that they needed to do and it is working well enough. There are still some matches to be made but the top of the card is ready and for a show that traditionally is not that strong, they have a lot of the makings to get one heck of a night out of it.
