That doesn’t sound good. WWE is just starting to get back to normal after the Coronavirus pandemic but things are far from out of the woods. There are still a lot of things to take care of, including getting used to be being back on the road full time. The company has been back for almost a month now, but there are still a few rough spots. That was on display this weekend.

According to PWInsider.com, SmackDown Women’s Champion Bianca Belair and Sasha Banks did not appear at Saturday’s WWE live event in Charlotte, North Carolina. The official reason given was “unforeseen circumstances” with no specifics given. There is nothing to suggest that either have tested positive for the Coronavirus. The two were scheduled to face off for the title. Another match between the two is scheduled for Sunday night and it is not clear if the match will still be taking place. Both women appeared on this week’s SmackDown.

Hopefully it isn’t bad. Check out the two of them when they are available:

Sasha Banks, Carmella and Zelina Vega attack Bianca Belair: SmackDown, Aug. 13, 2021

Bianca Belair vs. Zelina Vega: SmackDown, Aug. 6, 2021

Sasha Banks vs. Reginald: SmackDown, Jan. 22, 2021

Opinion: I’m not sure what is going on here but it does not sound like the best news. The thing to remember is that this could be due to a variety of things and you shouldn’t just jump to assuming that it is a Coronavirus issue. While that is always a possibility, there are all kinds of other possibilities out there. The Sunday live event will be rather telling as well, so all we can do for now is wait.
