Two for the road. We are less than a week away from Survivor Series, which will be one of the most unique shows of the year. As has been the case for the last few years, the show will be built around the idea of Monday Night Raw vs. SmackDown in a battle for brand supremacy. That means the two shows will be going head to head, and now we know a bit more about how that will be going down.
WWE has announced two more matches for the Survivor Series card. First, the Raw Tag Team Champions RKBro will face the SmackDown Tag Team Champions the Usos in a non-title match. Second, United States Champion Damian Priest will face Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura in another non-title match. Survivor Series has seen matches between the brands’ tag team and secondary champions for several years in a row.
These should be interesting. Check out what the champs are bringing to Survivor Series:
Opinion: Neither of these matches are a surprise, but it’s nice to see them officially confirmed. If nothing else, this means we might actually get some build to them on the final week of WWE TV before Survivor Series. Both of the matches should be good, though I could go without seeing one of the champions losing in eight match. That’s just how this goes though, which is part of the problem with how modern day Survivor Series goes.
