There’s always room for two more. We are less than two days away from Money in the Bank and as usual, the show is going to be a little different than most due to the amount of people involved in the two namesake matches. That kind of setup can make for some strange cards due to the lack of wrestlers available elsewhere. There are still wrestlers out there though and some of them have been added to the card.
One of the advantages that WWE has over so many other wrestling promotions is the depth of their talent pool. While other companies have incredibly talented wrestlers, no one has as many talented wrestlers as WWE. They have a mixture of past, present and future stars and that can make for some interesting combinations. Some of those combinations will be on display Sunday night.
Two more matches have been announced for the Money in the Bank card. First up, Jeff Hardy will face Cesaro on the Kickoff Show. Hardy has not wrestled since the March 13 SmackDown, though he appeared on this week’s show. Cesaro was victorious on the WrestleMania 36 Kickoff Show, defeating Drew Gulak. Also announced for the regular show is MVP vs. R-Truth. MVP has wrestled sporadically since returning to the company while R-Truth has not wrestled on television since WrestleMania 36 when he lost the 24/7 Title.
Those are two big matches. Check out the participants getting ready:
Opinion: I’ve heard worse ideas, though you might expect the two matches to be swapped. Hardy returning is a fairly big deal though he’s on the Kickoff Show while MVP and R-Truth, who are both lower level names, are on the main show. The matches should be decent enough though and that’s what this show is going to need. You can have some backup matches to go with the bie ones and these should do well.
