Hang them up. There are all kinds of matches in wrestling, some of which involve some less than traditional stipulations. You will occasionally see a match with rules that are designed to fit a story. That can make for things all the more violent, especially if things are done in a certain way. We are going to be seeing such a match in the coming weeks with some rather high stakes.

Earlier this month, Cody Rhodes defeated Kevin Owens in the main event of Saturday Night’s Main Event to retain the WWE Championship. Following the match, Owens attacked Rhodes and stole the Winged Eagle title. This week on SmackDown, Rhodes returned and agreed to a rematch with Owens. However, the match will be a ladder match for the title, with both belt held above the ring. The match was officially set for the Royal Rumble on February 1.

Opinion: This is the logical way to go and I could go with seeing the two of them in a major match for the title. Putting the two belts above the ring is certainly a way to go and hopefully the match winds up working well. If nothing else, it opens up the chances for Owens to win, and even though it feels like a long shot, he has a better chance here than he would in a regular match.
