On the dotted line. There are a lot of stars in the wrestling world today but not so many spots for all of them to fill. The competition for those spots can be fierce and it means a lot for a wrestler to be able to take one of them for themselves. That is what has happened again with a spot in one of the two most important companies, and it is being filled by someone you might remember from WWE.

Over the last few weeks, a new stable has emerged in AEW as the Trustbusters have appeared multiple times on AEW TV. The team is led by former WWE star Ariya Daivari, who has used his inheritance to hire the rest of the group. According to Fightful Select, Daivari has been signed to a full time AEW deal as a wrestler. He also produced the recent Jamie Hayter/Britt Baker vs. Thunder Rosa/Toni Storm match. Daivari had briefly worked as a producer in WWE earlier this year.

Opinion: This is the kind of signing that makes a bit more sense. Daivari as a wrestler is one thing, but it helps a lot to have him doing more work behind the scenes. AEW has more than enough wrestlers at the moment already so adding someone to the other side of the equation can help a good bit. If Daivari is good enough to do something like this, then he is a nice asset to have in AEW.

What do you think of the signing? How will Daivari do in AEW? Let us know in the comments below.
