There they go. AEW has had quite a bit of success in its short existence. The company has gone from non-existent to drawing 80,000 fans to Wembley Stadium over the weekend. That is absolutely worth celebrating, but there are also some problems that are taking place behind the scenes. That was the case this weekend, but now AEW seems to have done something about it.

According to backstage reports from All In, CM Punk and Jack Perry got into a physical altercation following an incident during Perry’s match. Following the incident, Bryan Alvarez is reporting that both Perry and Punk have been suspended from AEW. As a result, the two are not expected to appear this weekend at AEW All Out. There is no word on how long the suspensions will last.
The belief within AEW is that Punk and Jack are both suspended pending the results of an investigation, which would mean neither will work All Out.

They’re stars when they’re around. Check out what the two of them can do in AEW:
Opinion: This is something that had to be done, regardless of whose fault it was. The two of them got into it backstage and now instead of talking about the biggest day in AEW history, we’re talking about their backstage issues instead. Whether or not it is Punk’s fault, this drama seems to follow him everywhere and at some point, something like this is going to have to be done about it.
What do you think of the incident? How long will he stay in AEW? Let us know in the comments below.
