There’s your next casualty. It’s safe to say that this year’s WrestleMania is one of the biggest question marks that has been seen in wrestling for a very long time. We are currently sixteen days away from the scheduled date for the first night of the show and it is far from a guarantee that the show will take place. However, there are some things that are not going to take place as usual.

The biggest issue with the show is the amount of people who can be in a building together at the same time. This has caused massive problems for WWE, as WrestleMania typically has around 100 people wrestling on the show. Couple that with the amount of production workers needed to put the show together and it can be a massive issue. Now though, WWE has found a way to drastically reduce the number of people on the show.

According to Prowrestlingsheet.com, WrestleMania 36 will not include the traditional men’s and women’s battle royals. The matches traditionally include twenty to thirty participants each but will not be taking place this year due to the restrictions on the show due to the Coronavirus. There have been six Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royals (men’s version) and two WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royals in history.

They haven’t been around long but these have been fun. Check out a bit of both:

Opinion: They didn’t have a choice int his one as it’s not like the matches really mean anything in the grand scheme of things. This match is for a few upper midcarders and almost everyone else on the roster to officially be on the WrestleMania card and in these circumstances, it makes no sense to put them on there. Find some other way to give the wrestlers a bonus, but don’t do this match under these conditions.

Which of the battle royals do you prefer? Who would have won this year’s versions? Let us know in the comments below.
