Two Becomes Three: Monday Night Raw Star Makes Return After Injury, Helps With Win

Welcome back. There are all kinds of ways to write a wrestler off of television for varying degrees of time. Some of these things are due to legitimate injuries while others are there for the sake of advancing a storyline. The latter allows a promotion to decide when someone is going to come back and that makes for interesting moments. We saw one such moment this week.

Three weeks ago on Monday Night Raw, Matt Riddle was attacked by Imperium but managed to fight back and injure Giovanni Vinci’s leg. Vinci missed the next two weeks due to the injury, but returned this week on Monday Night Raw, albeit on crutches. Vinci used one of the crutches to attack Sami Zayn, costing him a match against Gunther. There is no word on when Vinci will return to the ring.

Opinion: It is nice to have Vinci back, if nothing else for the sake of bringing Imperium back up to full strength. As good as Gunther and Ludwig Kaiser are as a duo, having the full trio there makes it that much better. It will be nice to have him back in the ring and hopefully everything should work out for the team. Imperium has done well so far and now they can do even better.
