Trish Stratus Returning To WWE For One Night Only

Welcome back. There are certain legends who are going to get a reaction no matter what they do. It can make for some very special moments and some of them are the kind that you can only get in certain places. The best of them are often those which take place in someone’s hometown, which will be the case again for a special appearance to close out the year.

WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus has announced that she will be appearing as the guest host for the WWE Live Event in her hometown of Toronto, Ontario, Canada on December 29. Stratus has made it clear that this will be a one off appearance and not the start of a long term run. There is nothing to suggest that Stratus will be getting in the ring or doing anything physical on the show.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that should be a lot of fun. Stratus has been retired for a long time but she is still someone who is going to get a reaction. Let the fans have a special moment and spice things up a bit at the same time. That’s something WWE can make work in the right circumstances and they should be able to have a good time with things in this case.
