Triple Ouch: Multiple Wrestlers Injured At NXT Spring Breakin

They can happen to anyone. Injuries are one of the worst things that can take place in wrestling and you never know when one might strike. Some of them are a lot more serious than others but there are nights when they just keep piling up. Unfortunately that seems to have been the case this week, as multiple stars were hurt during the same show, plus another came into the night already injured.

This week, NXT held its Spring Breakin special, featuring multiple top names and title matches. According to Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Live, there were multiple injuries during the show. This includes NXT Women’s Champion Indi Hartwell hurting her ankle and Grayson Waller suffering an undisclosed injury which led to the finish of his match against NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes. Both Waller and Hartwell finished their matches. In addition, Sol Ruca had suffered some sort of injury before the show, which resulted in an angle that saw had laid out by an unnamed attacker. Her return date is unknown.

Opinion: That is a rough two hours or so as multiple wrestlers getting hurt in a single night is never a good thing to see. The fact that the two involved in a match were able to get to the finish is a positive, but now we have to wait and see just how long it takes them to get back to full health. The same is true for Ruca, who seems like she might be out of action for more than a bit.
