The big announcement. The Coronavirus pandemic has come back with the rise of the new omicron variant and there is no way of knowing just how far everything is going to go. There has been another spike in cases and it could be a long time before things are back to normal. That is the case in WWE as well, as a top star in the company seems to have contracted the virus.
WWE’s Seth Rollins has sent out a tweet saying “Merry Covid Christmas!”, suggesting that he has contracted the virus. Rollins did not appear at this weekend’s WWE live event in York City and it is not clear when he will be returning to WWE television. Rollins did not specifically say that he had tested positive, meaning he could have only come into contact with someone who had the virus instead.
Merry Covid Christmas to me!!!! I LOVE FOOTBALL!!!

Rollins is still a top star in WWE. Check out what he can do when he is around:
Opinion: Rollins’ wording is a bit vague here and he might be enjoying more time away from WWE rather than saying he has tested positive. I’m not sure what that is going to mean for the future, but right now it seems that we are going to be without Rollins for a bit. Granted that might change as soon as this week’s Monday Night Raw, but that tweet is not exactly an encouraging sign.
What do you think of Rollins? What should he do when he gets back? Let us know in the comments below.
