Welcome home. Wrestlers leaving a promotion can be a problem at times but they have no choice but to go away for one reason or another. Some of these are not as serious as others, as a wrestler might need to take care of something outside of the ring. Even if that is the case, their return can still be pretty special, which seemed to be the case during a return this week.

Chris Jericho made his return during this week’s edition of AEW Dynamite. Jericho ran in to clear out 2.0 and Daniel Garcia, who had defeated Eddie Kingston, Santana and Ortiz. After the match, Garcia hit Santana in the face with the ring bell, drawing out Jericho for the save. Kingston did not care for Jericho’s actions and the two had to be separated. Jericho had been missing since the December 1 Dynamite due to going on tour with his band Fozzy.

Jericho is a big deal in AEW. Check out the return and what he has done in the company:

Opinion: You had to know this was coming sooner than later and that is not a bad thing. Jericho is the biggest name that AEW has and it is great to have him back. I’m not sure what he is going to be doing next, but it seems that something with Kingston seems to be in the cards. That could go in a few different directions, and hopefully they find the most interesting available.
