That would be big. Over the weekend, New Japan Pro Wrestling made its American debut with a pair of shows in Long Beach, California. The first night was headlined by IWGP World Champion Kazuchika Okada, who defended his title against Cody. That wasn’t it for Okada in America though as he made one more stop.

That stop would be at the “Smackdown Live” where Okada stood at the gorilla position all night, shaking hands and congratulating everyone on their matches. There is no word on any potential move to WWE for Okada, but his friends Shinsuke Nakamura and AJ Styles already perform there and he might have just been visiting.

G1 Special Long Beach Okada Entrance

Opinion: This is one of those stories that is likely to get people talking but I can’t imagine it goes anywhere, at least not for the time being. Okada is the biggest star in New Japan at the moment and they would throw the world at him to keep him around. Maybe he comes to WWE one day but I don’t think it happens anytime soon.

Do you think Okada will ever come to WWE? How big of a star would he be there? Let us know in the comments below.
