This includes some shows that have become regular fixtures on the company’s schedule. Having one of those shows take place can be a major deal, especially when they play into bigger shows down the line. One is on the way, and it could be bigger than ever.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there is a chance that this year’s Royal Rumble will be the most watched WWE event in history. This comes after a large increase in Peacock subscribers due to an NFL Playoff game airing on the platform. In addition, it will likely be the most watched event in WWE history. The Royal Rumble is set to take place on January 27.

Opinion: This is where WWE being tied into various platforms and stages like Peacock beneits WWE. While they are on a roll right now, this is likely about how they are tied together with Peacock and that is a great thing. WWE is reaping the benefits of being a part of a large platform and as a result, a major WWE show is going to benefit from being in the right place in the right time.
