IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Update On WWE’s Plans In Saudi Arabia This Year, Slightly Different Than Usual
According to Fightful by way of Cagesideseats.com, Darby Allin is planning to climb Mount Everest, which will result in him missing several months from the company. There is no word on when he will be back or if he will be making any sort of appearances in between. Allin had previously planned to climb the mountain last year but was forced to pull out due to an injury. He most recently wrestled on the December 25 edition of Dynamite in a time limit draw against Ricochet.
Allin is a star. Check out what he has done in AEW:
Opinion: This is something that Allin has talked about doing for months now and I’m not surprised that he is trying it again. That being said, I would certainly hope that AEW doesn’t pause whatever plans they have for Allin, who has been teasing a major feud with the Death Riders. Putting that on hold for such a long time and leaving the World Title scene in a holding pattern for however long is not a good idea, and unfortunately that might be what we are seeing.
What do you think of the idea? What is next for Allin when he returns to AEW? Let us know in the comments below.
