The more the merrier? Before the Coronavirus pandemic struck, there was an absurd amount of wrestling on television every single week. Now that things have been taken back down a bit, there is still a ton to watch, but not as much as before. That leaves some vacancies in the schedule, and believe it or not, an older promotion might be about to fill in some of the gap.

While it might not be the most popular or even well known promotion these days, Impact Wrestling has been doing things a little bit better in recent months. The company has developed more of its own identity and left behind some of its weaker history. That is something they have needed to do for a long time now, but it makes for some rather odd possibilities.

According to PWInsider.com, AXS TV is interested in the idea of a TNA spinoff series. This comes after Impact Wrestling was scheduled to run a TNA reunion show over WrestleMania weekend. The show was canceled due to the Coronavirus pandemic, but the TNA World Title has been used by Moose, who claims that it makes him the real World Champion. There are no details about a potential series, or if Impact Wrestling is interested.

There is some history in the TNA name. Check out some of its moments:

Opinion: Having more wrestling is often a good thing, but having TNA around again is kind of a head scratcher. It doesn’t have the best reputation in history and I’m not sure if that is something Impact Wrestling wants to do. They have done a good job of turning the company into something new and I’m not sure if they should be going back to what wasn’t exactly a huge success before.
