They’re missing a piece. The biggest wrestling news story of the day is the announcement of Monday Night Raw moving to Netflix in January 2025. This marks the first time that the show will be premiering on streaming, which means that it will be leaving cable television. That makes sense on paper, but there might be a slight problem that WWE needs to deal with in time.

Monday Night Raw is debuting on Netflix in January 2025, but their current contract with USA ends in October, meaning there will be a gap of more than two months between the two deals. According to Variety, it is not clear where the show will air in November and December, but there is always the chance that WWE and USA will extend their current deal to fill in the gap.
The show has been energetic lately. Check out some of this year’s Monday Night Raw:
Opinion: I’m sure WWE has something planned to get through the last two months of the year, as it would be almost insane to imagine the show not airing for that long. At the very least I would assume WWE could air the show on Peacock or even their own website, though it would be more than a bit strange. For now though, it’s a big day for WWE and this is one of the details thas has to be dealt with on the way to the new deal.
What do you think of the gap? How will WWE solve this? Let us know in the comments below.
