And so, it ended. There are all kinds of titles and accomplishments to be won in WWE but ultimately, the vast majority of them have to be lost at some point. Eventually a title is going to be lost to another wrestler and the whole thing starts again. That can make for some important moments and we saw one of the most important in recent memory over the weekend.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WATCH: Jey Uso May Have Spoiled The WrestleMania Main Event

The main event of Night One of WrestleMania 39 saw Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn defeat the Usos to win the WWE Tag Team Titles. The win ends the Usos’ reign as Raw Tag Team Champions at 316 days and their reign as SmackDown Tag Team Champions at a record 622 days. It is the first tag team title win in WWE for both Owens and Zayn, as well as the first time the Tag Team Titles have changed hands in a WrestleMania main event.

It was a big night. Check out the title match plus the new and old champions in action:

Opinion: This is the kind of moment that you do not get to see very often and it is a special thing. The Usos’ reign ending was a big enough deal and Owens and Zayn winning the titles made things that much better. At the end of the day, the lengthy title reign made it all the better as it feels like something that has been built up for so long to make the payoff feel that much better.
