During a new interview with ET, John Cena revealed that he will be retiring from the ring before he turns 50 years old. Cena, currently 46 years old, will turn 50 in April 2027. While Cena said that he feels great, he said that he wanted to be able to give the fans what they give him. Cena has been teasing retirement during his recent WWE appearances, with his most recent match taking place at Crown Jewel in November 2023.
Cena is a legend like few others. Check out some of his time in WWE:
Opinion: Cena being gone for good is one of those things that you knew was coming at some point but it is still hard to imagine it actually happening. He’s the biggest star of the recent generation and now he’s going to be done with wrestling in just a few years. Cena isn’t going to be around full time and those appearances are few and far between. I’m sure WWE will have a big sendoff for him, but it is still hard to believe it will actually take place.
