Triple take. There are a lot of people on the WWE roster and it can be rather difficult to get them all on television every single week. One of the best ways to do so has been the Brand Split, with wrestlers appearing on one show instead of both. Sometimes there are exceptions to the rule of course, which was the case again this week on Monday Night Raw in three cases.

One of the perks of the Brand Split has been how special it feels when you see the brands coming together again. This does not happen very often in WWE but it feels like an important moment when it does take place. That was the case this week on Monday Night Raw as two wrestlers were scheduled to come over. It turns out that they did not come alone.

This week on Monday Night Raw, three SmackDown superstars made appearances. SmackDown Tag Team Champions Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura lost a champions vs. champions match against the Raw Tag Team Champions the Street Profits in a scheduled match. Later in the show, Braun Strowman appeared on Raw Underground and attacked both Riddick Moss and Dolph Ziggler before having a staredown with Dabba Kato. The two will meet on Raw Underground next week.

The blue invasion. Check out the SmackDown stars on Monday Night Raw:

Opinion: This feels like WWE’s latest way to try and boost ratings, which is a completely understandable move given the start of Monday Night Football. There are a lot of people that fans will want to see in WWE, but one thing that is going to make it better is making it feel like fans are seeing something special. That was the case here and it seemed to work rather well.
