Can you blame them for being interested? There are a lot of names in wrestling history with thousands coming and going over the years. However, there are a handful of names who are head and shoulders above the rest. That is literally true in one case and that would be the Undertaker. After nearly thirty years in WWE, Undertaker finally gave a long form out of character interview and the fans were very, very interested.

Last Sunday, the first episode of Broken Skull Sessions debuted with Steve Austin interviewing the Undertaker. The interview runs over an hour and a half and features Undertaker talking about several parts of his career in a very rare out of character interview. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the show was the second most viewed show of the week on the WWE Network, being beaten only by Survivor Series. There is no word on who will be the guest for Austin’s second episode.

The show was a big deal. Check out some clips of the interview:

Opinion: I can’t say I’m surprised by this as Undertaker is one of the true Holy Grails of wrestling interviews. No one has ever been as nearly mystical as him and hearing him in an out of character interview is almost hard to imagine. It is no wonder that this is fascinating to a lot of fans and so many people wanted to see him. Undertaker still has a bit left in the tank and it was great to get to see something like this.
