Done soon? WWE has a strange history with tag team wrestling, as several teams have been put together over the years, seemingly with the intended result of splitting them up. It can make for some emotional moments when a team is split up, some of which are more interesting than others. Now we might be on the way to another breakup between a team with a bit of history.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WRESTLING RUMORS: Interesting Reason For Ronda Rousey WrestleMania Plans Changing

Tatum Paxley and Ivy Nile have been teaming together for several months now. The team has recently been having issues with Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn, who have been suggesting that Paxley and Nile are not really friends. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the plan is for Paxley and Nile to split up in the coming weeks. There is no word on how the split is set to happen.

Opinion: This isn’t the biggest surprise, but Nile and Paxley felt like a team who could have been a bigger deal if they were given the chance. If nothing else, there are only so many women’s tag teams in NXT in the first place. With such a limited choice of teams, I’m not sure how much sense it makes to get rid of one of them, especially when they have been around for a little while.

What do you think of the change? How would you handle the split? Let us know in the comments below.
